Thank you for visiting Honu Quilting!
Jenn Reeve has been longarm quilting since 2009, and has been quilting professionally since February, 2010. Jenn has enjoyed doing various needle arts her entire life, but learned to quilt with her mother and knew three stitches into her first free-motion project that quilting would forever be her passion. Jenn's soul mate is a Gammill Classic longarm affectionately named "Brutus" (because what else do you name a 12-foot long, 45 pound sewing machine?). Brutus is a free-motion longarm machine which means that Jenn's quilting is 100% hand-guided.
When not quilting for customers or teaching quilting classes, Jenn loves to hike with her amazing husband, Chuck, and their three crazy puppies, Charlie, Wally, & Kylie.
What is a Honu?
Honu is the Hawaiian word for sea t
urtle. Hawaiian legends say the honu guided the first Polynesians to the Hawaiian islands, and is a revered symbol of peace, good luck, and long life. The logo for Honu Quilting is an example of a Hawaiian petroglyph which can be found carved in the ancient lava fields on the Big Island Hawaii, where Jenn and Chuck spent their honeymoon and fell in love with the tranquility of sea turtles.
Help a Honu
